Overview
DBAR’s first West African International Centre of Excellence, co-founded with the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in Ghana. It focuses on leveraging Earth observation and big data technologies to tackle Ghana’s key challenges in water scarcity, energy development and natural resource management.

Objectives
Establish a joint laboratory for Earth observation and sustainable development, promote the sharing of satellite and ground observation data, conduct talent training and academic exchanges, and implement pilot projects focusing on water resource monitoring, renewable energy assessment and natural resource sustainable management.
