MoU signed under DBAR between CBAS and IMAA-CNR
The Memorandum of Understanding Between the Digital Belt and Road Program of the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals and Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis, National Research Council (IMAA-CNR), Italy was signed to organize cooperation between the two organization on big earth data for sustainable development goals. Professor Huadong Guo, Chair of DBAR and Director General CBAS and Professor Rosa Lasaponara, Research Director, Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis, National Research Council (IMAA-CNR), Italy signed the MoU on behalf of the two parties.
Internationally renowned experts including Prof. Massimo Menenti, Dr. Ishwaran Natarajan, Prof. Kamal Labbassi, Prof. Nana Sarfo Agyemang Derkyi, Prof Chen Fang, Prof Jia Gensuo, and Prof. Lin Hui joined the signing ceremony as witness.
Both parties agreed to continue to support DBAR International Centre of Excellence Potenza at the IMAA-CNR, Italy for next five years till June 9, 2030. Both parties will jointly develop ICoE Potenza to work on SDG 6 for research on wetland heritage, SDG 11 for cultural heritage, SDG 15 towards natural heritage preservation, SDG13 for understanding climate change impacts on heritage. The ICoE Potenza will also work to facilitate the DBAR contributions to DSP and to facilitate global sustainability frameworks.
